BUCEPHALUS DESCENDS

Horses and their spirits have always amazed me, and any chance opportunity to be in their presence has always proven to be a memorable experience. They seem so free and wild, yet at the same time, there’s a certain graceful aura about them. We are most fortunate to share this planet with these beautiful creatures.

Their spirits surround, permeate, and influence us, having become part of our existence since long before Genesis. Truly fascinating animals worthy of powerful, graceful impressions that I’ve been endeavoring to capture for years.

This morning I came upon a family of horses. One instantly bolted, ran up this little hillside, and began to intensely watch my every move.

This was the leader and protector of his family was my first thought, when suddenly a radiant orb filtered through the fog-covered trees to cast a time-transcendent, revelatory light upon this now patently gallant, noble, and spirited descendant of equine greatness. I was taken by this majestic commander’s presence that inspired a sense of respect, awe, and fascination that before me stood a sure descendant of the great Bucephalus.
